The Koperattiva Produtturi taz-Zebbug Limited organised the visit of the first group of members of the Cooperative for a training programme in Olive Grove management under the Erasmus+ programme. The Group consisted one Group Leader and 12 members from the Cooperative. The training was organised at Uliveti Castel San Martino in Solopaca, Province of Benevento between the 10th and 17th March, 2025.

The training was conducted by the Managing Directors of the Company Dr. Giovanni Filippo Cozzi and Mr. Nils Noreg, together with the technical staff of the company.
The topics covered during the training programme under the form of Job Shadowing were: Introduction to Uliveti, valorization of the olive grove landscape, pruning of the olive tree (with practical demonstrations), irrigation, nutrition, integrated pest management, olive oil tasting, olive oil marketing and valorisation, visit to olive mill and presentation on the tools used in the olive grove, visit to the blending and bottling plant of Uliveti.
At the end of the programme, Uliveti organised a one day cultural visit to Naples were the participants visited a number of cultural buildings, tasted street food and enjoyed a special dinner at a Michelin One Restaurant.
The Cooperative would like to thank the group members for their active participation, the Management of Uliveti and the EUPA Malta Agency for their continued support and guidelines.
The Participants were all presented with a Certificate for the completion of the Job Shadowing Experience. The Certificates were signed by the Hosting Organisation (Uliveti), the Sending Organisation (KPZ) and the Mayor of Solopaca Eng. Pompilio Forgione. The ceremony for the presentation of the Certificates was held at the Office of the Municipality in Solopaca with the presenece of the Deputy Mayor, the Commissioner of Agriculture and the Commissioner of Youths.
